Graduating from Cork Institute of Technology in the Republic of Ireland having studied Architectural Technology, Niall moved to London to begin his career in the architectural profession in 1986. Working on a variety of commercial interior and high end residential new build and refurbishments Niall gained a wide range of experience at all levels within architectural practice.

Completing an Honours Degree in Architecture at the University of East London 1994, Niall continued to contribute to academic research using artificial intelligence algorithms in the field of generative modeling and co-authored a research paper presented a Eurographics in 1996. Niall founded healycornelius design consultancy limited in 2004 and the practice was a recipient Camden Building Control Build Quality Award in 2007. Currently, healycornelius design consultancy limited has offices in London and the Republic of Ireland offering full architectural services to clients in addition to technical studio services to Architects, Interior Designers and D&B Contractors.

Niall is also a serving member of the Greater London Region Committee and Special Issues Task Force of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technology

Nigel Sellars

Global Property Standards, Associate Director RICS

Nigel leads and manages a range of RICS industry forums, whose function is to monitor market trends/ industry issues, shape industry best practice, raise standards and develop policy; achieved through extensive collaboration with subject matter experts, industry influencers and public consultation. He has joint responsibility for (and input into) the guidance notes, journals, articles and forums produced and managed by these groups.

Nigel is responsible for development of RICS current global conduct related standards, including ‘Conflicts of Interest, UK Investment Agency 2017’- the consultation of which, received a record amount of responses. Nigel was responsible for managing political sensitivities of various interests from industry bodies, member firms and end users to influence and bring about real industry change.

Nigel is responsible for developing strategic relationships with other relevant companies, domestic/international professional, government, not for profit and trade bodies, including Government Property Unit (GPU), HMRC, International Council of Shopping Centers, Investment Property Forum (IPF), Green Property Alliance and Association of Real Estate Funds (AREF).

Nigel has contributed to raising the profile of RICS externally, being published/quoted in a number of industry outlets (Property Week and Estates Gazette) and speaking at a number of international industry / RICS conferences including MIPIM and FIG.

Paul Rodgers

Design Partner – 10 Design

Paul is Design Partner at 10 DESIGN and has over 20 years of international experience in design and delivery of projects. He has worked in a wide range of sectors including commercial, residential, education, master planning and infrastructure-related projects, with particular emphasis on concept design and its implementation. Paul has spent over 20 years designing projects in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and North America.

Paul together with Design Partner – Gordon Affleck and their design team created and delivered the contemporary area of Al Seef, a regeneration of a half kilometer of Dubai Creek. This lifestyle destination, open in 2018, offers high-end boutique retail shops and restaurants and as well as two Jumeirah hotels branded as Zabeel House.

Also recently built is his work for a rejuvenation of the urban realm around Dubai International Finance Centre. Soon to be added to his built portfolio are the two luxury residential developments for Al Barari Dubai (Seventh Heaven and Ashjar), both are near completion.

His projects have also been extended to Egypt for a 550 hectare Jefaira Seafront Masterplan and Architecture and Saudi Arabia for a number of high-end residential developments.

Paul also has extensive experience in design and delivery of education projects. He has led the design of numerous schools and campuses, most notably for the Queen Margaret University, the University of Edinburgh, the Robert Gordon University, University of St Andrews, and York University.

Paul has lectured and taught at the University of Dundee.

Jo Hamilton is an internationally-renowned interior designer, noted for her confident grasp of colour, intelligent use of space and luxury aesthetic. She is also a respected artist, public speaker, writer and columnist, broadcaster and property finder.

She has run her own interior design firm for more than 25 years and has counted high-end commissions from the likes of Miami, Geneva, Ibiza, Dubai, Jeddah and Doha, and of course London and across the UK. Jo Hamilton Interiors works with both private clients and developers, for whom she has helped to achieve record-breaking property prices with her interior designs.

Founder & CEO, International Property Media Group

Stuart graduated from Canterbury in 1981 with a degree in graphic design. He went on to work in London as an art director.
Stuart then spent three years in Spain working in international marketing before launching an overseas property buyers’ protection scheme in 1988. This led him to publish his first magazine listing Spanish property which rapidly expanded to feature properties across the world. Negotiations with some of the world’s leading airlines encouraged them to carry the magazine for their first and business class passengers. In 1994, Stuart launched the International Property Awards. The International Hotel Awards followed in 2011.

Dr Giovanni Marzo joined Salice in October 2007 as the Area Manager of African, Gulf and South East Asian markets. He is responsible for the marketing, communications and product management efforts and is following not only the branches but also all customers, distributors, architects designers of that area. In addition to strategic business development efforts, branding, and advertising, Giovanni manages oversees trade shows, events, marketing, product training and more

CEO, Real Estate Investment Management and Promotion

Majida Ali Rashid began her career at the Ministry of Public Works in Dubai and joined DLD in 2007. She still works for the department today, serving as Senior Manager of Planning and Organisational Development, Strategic Advisor, and Assistant Director General and CEO of the Real Estate Investment Management and Promotion Center.

Majida holds a BA in Business Administration from the Ajman University of Science and Technology with Honours. She is also the first Emirati woman to hold a Master’s Degree in this field from the University of Hull, UK with Honours. In 2010, she received a degree from the Dubai Real Estate Institute — the educational arm of DLD — as the first certified Emirati female trainer to offer various courses in the fields of real estate investment, leadership and government innovation.

Majida represents one of DLD’s most prominent female leaders and is always keen to empower and support women in the department, and adopt new ideas, innovations and talents. Her team organises ongoing workshops to build sustainable bridges and exchange knowledge and creative ideas.

Majida was ranked on the list of the ‘World’s 100 Most Powerful Arab Women’ in the annual rating from Arabian Business publication for three consecutive years in 2015, 2016, and 2017, as well as Forbes Middle East’s list of the ‘Most Powerful Arab Women 2015’ and ‘Most Powerful Arab Women in MENA in the Construction Sector’.

Sultan Butti Bin Mejren is the General Manager at the Department of Land and Property of Dubai. After studying Islamic sciences and Shari’a, he joined the Department of Lands in 1986 and was appointed in 2006 as the Director of the Department.
During his years of administration, a series of real estate laws have been issued that protect the supreme interests of the state and establish confidence in the real estate market. The department has also expanded its functions to provide services to real estate professionals. It has a regulatory arm in the real estate regulatory authority, an investment arm in the center of management and encouragement of investment, and it also oversees the Dubai Institute of Real Estate.

Since taking over the department Sultan Butti Bin Mejren has received awards from the Dubai Government Excellence Program for customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, and for services provided to employees.

CEO, Registration and Real Estate Services

Majid Al Marri is the CEO for the Registration and Real Estate Services at the Dubai Land Department. He is responsible for the promotion of the real estate market of Dubai and the gathering of developers under the umbrella of the Dubai Land Department in order to strengthen and enhance communication between stakeholders in the sector.

He graduated from the London Business School and holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. Majid has also completed the leadership program at the Dubai School of Government with assistance from Harvard University and the John F. Kennedy School of Government. In 2009 he received the distinguished ‘Government Employee Award’ from the Dubai Government Excellence program for Dubai Tourism (DTCM). He is one of the 50 most influential names attached to the hospitality industry in the Middle East today and ranked in 16th position by Hotelier Middle East’s – ‘Middle East Power 50’.

Ali Tumbi is an established figure with over 15 years of the real estate industry in the Middle East. As the CEO of Aqua Properties, a leading brokerage and developer in Dubai,  Ali’s relentless entrepreneurship has recently birthed the most exciting of innovations yet, known as Global REIT – the world’s first ever blockchain based REIT. Its game-changing feature to its investors is the exposure it offers to the global real estate market without having to acquire entire properties, along with a host of value-added benefits that make real estate highly accessible and sought after investments. Given the thriving response to its launch in the Middle East, it is safe to say that the innovation will also impact and shape the landscape world over in how real estate investments are perceived, accessed and transacted.

Ali holds a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Texas at Austin.

As CEO of the Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA), the regulatory arm of Dubai Land Department, Marwan Ahmed Bin Ghalita has responsibility for ensuring that Dubai’s real estate industry operations are conducted in a transparent and equitable manner. His position at the helm of the organisation that governs the emirate’s dynamic property sector involves him establishing principles of fairness that help engender confidence in the market and encourage investment.

Bin Ghalita’s role involves him overseeing RERA’s regulation of entities that conduct business within the sector through a comprehensive legislative framework, governing relations between contractual parties. His strategic direction of the department’s activities guarantees the rights of operators in the market and sets out their responsibilities.

Bin Ghalita commenced his career with Dubai Land Department in 1995 as a Survey Engineer. He was soon promoted to Vice-President of the department’s Survey Division, becoming its first local President in 1999. His vision and flair for leadership saw him advance to Head of the Technical Affairs Department.

Throughout his tenure at Dubai Land Department, Bin Ghalita has been instrumental in the planning and execution of numerous projects. He has also participated as a key note speaker in many local and international conferences concerned with Dubai’s real estate sector.
